The Age of Chivalry Is Ending
Gunpowder was first invented in china, and it was experimented with some in different parts of asia. But europeans became aware of the existence of gunpowder by the 12 hundreds. We have some evidenceof europeans trying out primitive guns. Cannons were developed, by 13 53, some sort of large metal cylinders that could fire a large, damaging projectile like a stone or a small boulder. And little by little, these cannon started to be used very carefully and strategically in sieges. At least as far as the battlefield goes, the age of chivalry is ending.
