The Relationship Between the Church and the Environment

We have to say that the way that we're looking at things is going to be intimately connected to our nature and to how God has arranged things. So if you look at Genesis 1, 26, when men and women are made, it says this: "Let us make men in our image after our likeness" We don't abuse creation because it is a matter of God's creation, but also because it redounds to our dignity as masters over it. It sort of betrays human dignity to sort of misuse things.
