I Walked to Randall's House, Angling to the North

Randall left the pickup truck where it had been twenty minutes before. When he got back to his property, he crossed the circular driveway and for some reason just kept going, angling to the north. He became a dot of no significance under that vast sky dotted with the stars. The house was so simple, so modest. It looked like basic upkeep had fallen aside for many years.
