I feel like observability is a smaller thing than I thought it was if I look at what's happening in the open telemetry space and when people talk about observability most of the time they're really talking about making distributed complex technology systems observable. Things are still early so there is what we know it's possible but in every company you can see that many make me my company are still early in the observability practices. The biggest challenge with distributed tracing is not so much the technical side of it it's the way that most organizations are structured and like politics, he says.
