The Paradox of Fetishism

When confronted with a traumatic fact, fetishists organize their universe so that they can very well survive in an extremely cynically, realistic way. The first task of a critique of ideology today is to look for these points of a fetishist belief. I claim again that whenever today we hear about all this mantra, about the loss of values, people are cynical and so on and so on. But they always have fetishists to support their cynicism.
