Is GitHub Centralization a Risk?
GitHub is a useful tool that if we get rid of it, yeah, it'll be a bit safer, but we'll move about 10 times slower. There's at least some experimentation going on right now with trying to mirror the repository to maybe GitLab or self-hosted. If Git Hub were to go down, I think it would be quite chaotic for a period,. Although it wouldn't be obviously an existential threat to Bitcoin in any way.
