The Importance of Grace
God gives me the possibility, real grace to be saved right here and right now. I could receive the grace of salvation and remain in that state of salvation, but I forfeit it. And so I'm in a state of non-salvation. By my own power, I can't save myself from eternal punishment. Why didn't he just give that grace to the people who are? Dan: It's not contrary to his love because God is not bound injustice to himself to give that grace. He must give the grace of repentance because he is merciful.
