Is There a Finite Limit to Decision Theory?
I think many of the everyday conclusions don't change that much because we still need to work hard on reducing existential risk. So many of those things we just get fewer and more exclamation marks after them. Even if truly infinite value was possible it might still not actually break our decision theory. But this is an open area and I'm curious to see what happens. Generally I tend to take the neuroscientist view that 1.4 liters of goopy stuff in my head can make decisions.
