The Risk of CTF in a Patient With a PE and a History of a DVT and PE

Kerr: The patient has a number of risk factors for having CTF and I really think that that's probably what this patient has. We're suspicious of pulmonary hypertension, so we want to get an echo for starters. And we'll see if there is evidence of elevated pulmonary artery pressures as well as right ventricular dysfunction in this patient. At the same time, we can screen for other causes of dyspnea.
