Movie Review: Abby Hoffman
I felt like because the various players, I mean, this was just a moment where young people felt as though they spoke for masses of other young people. Tom Hagen had a plausible claim upon the conscience of a quote unquote generation and he wrote the Port Huron statement. Abby Hoffman had a cultural agenda aimed against that part of the establishment which reproduced itself by being square in a certain way. And so the idea that you conduct a cultural revolution was very central to what Hoffman was doing. It's not only an intelligent, I think it's a astoundingly intelligent performance by Sacha Baron Colin,. But nonetheless, I really thought that there was something quite riveting and taught about this
