The Importance of Critical Thinking in Economics

Adam Smith: I'm going to try to sum up these four questions that we just received. First question was about Europe's various progressive parties, how they are differentiated from each other in terms of their internal culture. The second question was about specifically Christian Lindner, Germany's current finance minister. Third question was about German reunification, whether as a whole, although Adam didn't want it to occur at the time, whether we can look back on its success. And the fourth question was a recent high school graduate about the idea of studying economics and whether the academic study of economics is really shed light on real world economics.
