The Boeing Building and the Bombing Raids

Boeing built the fake suburb because they were worried about Japanese bombing raids. They had to align the street grid with generally what was going on around them. There's a cool website that has a lot of really great pictures of like, and you know, it's the time to so this like super cool lady in 1944. So I think they ended up having a little fun with it maybe.
