Can Microdosing Really Help With Sedentary Sitting?

The soleus muscle can raise local oxidative metabolism to high levels for hours without fatigue. A study in 2014 found that prolonged sitting did result in elevation of blood pressure in individuals with type 2 diabetes. So if we are sitting for a period of time, can we do something to then reverse the effects that that sedentary sitting behavior may have caused?
