Food Is a National Security Issue

I feel like sometimes we don't give enough importance to food in America, in Europe, in Africa, right now in Ukraine. Food security is about the future. When children don't have adequate nutrition, they cannot learn. When seniors are starving, they are losing hope and losing opportunity. I was appalled this year when the state of Georgia refused school lunches during the summer saying that our children didn't eat it. If you've never truly been hungry, it's sometimes hard for people to understand how it changes your mind. You don't see hunger.
