The Core of Liberalism Is a Negative Project of Like, We Should Not Be Restricting People's Freedoms

I think the core of liberalism as a positive project is saying there's a diversity of taste people live their lives in different ways, identify different ways and so on. But if you just reason backward from that and say, here's my taste. Therefore, policy X is correct, that's bad reasoning. So therefore, yeah, I think that politics of taste and recognizing that this is, to some extent, the core of Liberalism is like a negative project.
