How to Predict a Difficult Airway
Difficult airways apply to all the different airway techniques that we've got. Bleeding is definitely something that you need to contend with, even though there's not significant vasculature overlying the cryocatharoid membrane. You may get a main stem intubation if you get a bit carried away with putting your booze or your tube in too far. And then clearly there might be a failure to access the trachea, either because of the anatomy or because of technique.
