Against The Odds

00:00

Shackleton and Worsley's Apologies for the Ice.

Shackleton has been searching ahead to find a route through the ice. It's been nothing but crusts of ice and wet snow for days. He can't think of a time during this god forsaken voyage that the going has been worse. The more he thinks about it, the angrier he gets. By the time he reaches the final sledge, he's grinding his teeth. His contract was only valid while we were on board the endurance. Now, the ship's gone. Our agreement is terminated. I'm not going any farther. Resume your position at the back. That's a direct order. Legally, i am under no obligation to follow your orders.
