Is Black Twitter the Right Place to Have These Conversations?

In a sense, black twitter is like the barber shop. It's a place where everyone can get in on the conversation. Just having these moments and enjoying things communally in a public form make us more susceptible to people coming in who don't necessarily understand the origins of the conversation. And they often do it for profit, for clout, for their own sort of privilege on the platform. Its it has this agenda disrupting function, and the news media is all over it as though it's something that journalists discovered in and of themselves.
