Onyagan's Boredom
Eugene is of the landed gentry. Boredom comes easy to him and he doesn't even really care what's going on. He puts them onto this alternate taxation plan where instead of, you know, as serfs, you were basically bound legally to the land you lived on. And there's a lot of humor in this this and You know, Onyagan that I really enjoy. The narrator notes friendship as I must own to you blooms when there's nothing else to do.
