The Mixing of Society and Nature

I find myself wanting to keep the mixture aspect of it together. And maybe part of what i'm resistant to is understanding how, in some ways, part of the articulation of the mixture as its own thing smooths out the mixture. To me, it loses some of that tension that was there before.
