The Mixing of Society and Nature
I find myself wanting to keep the mixture aspect of it together. And maybe part of what i'm resistant to is understanding how, in some ways, part of the articulation of the mixture as its own thing smooths out the mixture. To me, it loses some of that tension that was there before. Which is one of the reasons why immediately talking about hybrids, rather than talking about the contacts involved between and the tensions involved explicitly between society and nature,. It begins to lose something for me, ind the messiness of it. For me, you're exactly right.
