What Was the Cost of the Ransomware Attack?

The city of Borgera, Texas was hit by a ransomware attack last year. City manager Garrett Straddling says it cost $44,000 but they didn't pay the ransom. The group responsible for the attack has been linked to some 175,000 attacks since then. But because of their new business model, experts can't be sure who is behind it.
