What Would Fly With Americans if There Was an Abortion Ban?

A six-week ban is likely to be less well received than something like a 12-week ban. Americans are more divided and have been more divided historically about whether abortion should be legal in that second trimester of pregnancy. A full ban would be quite unpopular, so I think it's pretty obvious why they're not going after that this year.
