Haitian Jerry Joseph moved to Odessa, Texas with his half brother and legal guardian Jabari Caldwell in 2009. At 16 years old he was a monster on the basketball court, dunking the ball like LeBron James. Coach Danny Wright had taken in dozens of kids off the street during his 50-year career at Permian Panther High School. "I believe God sent him here, and he sent him here for a reason," said coach Wright.
