How Do You Find Out About a Photographer?
If you're going to do a photography course, really research the style. Go by testimonials as well. Just because someone's an amazing photographer doesn't necessarily make them a great teacher. The other thing I would also check out is how many people are in the class? Ah, yeah. If you're trying to learn a new skill like lighting or posing or working with models, that's too big a class. So if you've got a model and you all get to have a turn photographing that model, then you probably want to work with a class of maybe eight to ten. And that way everyone gets to have a decent one on one time with the teacher.
