Culture, Violence, and Ideology

This chapter examines the complex relationship between culture and violence, particularly in cinema and societal narratives about authority figures. It discusses the normalization of violence against perceived oppressors and draws parallels between historical Russian literature and current socio-political dynamics. The chapter also highlights the risks of radicalization among the youth and critiques emerging ideological shifts within academia, particularly regarding anti-Semitism and the experiences of Jewish students.
