The earliest mention of eunuchs goes back to ancient sumer 20 first century b c, e. The roman and byzantine empires both had a vigorous eunuch culture. Emasculation involved the whole shabeng male sexual organ and testes. Castration was all over the ancient world as part of all kinds of rituals and ceremonies.
