Lewis says we need to be more charitable with our interpretations so it fits their context. He talks about the Jewish concept of imith of truth or rock bottom reality and that very important key word in Hebrew. The faithful caloramine who is allowed to join Aslan in the new Narnia is named imith. It's like slowly the Hebrews were coming to an understanding and God revealing how much their flesh could take in.
