When I first did Pecock, Apple events were a new thing. Every action that you took in the application generated a line of Apple scripts if you had recording switched on. You could write a script very easily just by press record and then it would start spitting each line out. And drag dragged 2.0, which came out in 97, was like the main thing where I started getting really deep into this stuff because it supported Apple script.
