Boxing movies are like one of the linchpin storytelling modes of American movies. They're often period pieces and you get these really stark hard archetypal characters inside of them. And so it feels like there's almost two categories in the post rocky boxing movie where it's sort of like you're either doing a rocky ripoff or you're doing a rocky rejection.
