i think the connective power of technology can't be denied. But we also have to make sure that we're not just excepting the norms and practices that are handed down to us by our corporate overlord. In general, maybe the left has done a better job organizing on lines than evangelical christians have in a lot of ways. So i don't know that they do need to necessarily learn from agelical but you can also learn from some of the mistakes and misteps absolutely.
