Climbing Is a Great Environment to Just Approach People
Bouldering is more of a recent thing I've taken up. Sometimes I feel like everyone is so good here. There's me falling off the most simple ones. Then I just have to laugh at myself and remember I'm here for fun. It's not about who's best. When I do show that childlike attitude, this fun, then other people actually come and say, hi, they even helped me. You can literally just go over to someone and be like, oh, that was really great. How did you do that? "I think we can learn a lot from children and how children interact," she says.
