Plato Was Wrong About Democracy
Andrew Hansen is an economist at Clemson University in South Carolina. He and his colleague Robert Fleck are studying the relationship between tyranny and democracy. They believe that if Plato had been interested in collecting data, he would have found his view to be incorrect. But there's a few problems here: The data is very incomplete; we know very little about most of the 1035 Polis identified by them.
