What Is Fanconi's Syndrome?
The primary blood supply to the gastric conduit after an esophagectomy is the right gastric epipoleg artery. The Chrykofringis muscle, the aortic arch, the left-mainstim bronchus, and the LES are relevant because they're the most vulnerable sites to injury. There's a 40 to 90% risk of squamous cell cancer of the esophagus by age 70.
