Aquinas on Divine Action
Aquinas' view of the natural law is helpful because it helps us better understand why people disagree. It actually helps us when we have disagreements with people to realize that we have a lot more shared moral understandings than we may think. Aquinas believed that God created the universe, but not in the sense that God sort of created the universe and the universe is completely autonomous and separate from him.
