Why Not Three?
Why do some positions get discussed as a number while others don't? We keep hearing about the left, eight, six and false nine. But why not the three, the seven or the 11? Any ideas? I think it's because tactical discussion has become more neance. So, you know, where i's, ten years ago, we might have talked about centralmid fielders,. Now we're looking for more nuance language to kind of delineate between those different roles. Why not three? I i'm sure it happens. I'm sure er. You know, people talk about, oh, he's, he's a conventional three, but he's like an inverted three.
