Writing a Novel About the 20th Century
It came from my wrote a book about Trinity Leary. And when I was looking at that period of America at that time, I'd often be surprised by things like how Silicon Valley grew out of that sort of psychedelic main part of California. You don't think it comes from the same spark as that. So that's what made me think, I'm sure if I looked again at the 20th Century, there's a more interesting story than the one we're being told, which was just like Hitler.
