The Sound of a Hummer

No, that was all engine sounds. There's an artist called Joe Rush who chops up vehicles and turns them into creatures. We did a recording session with him many years ago at Glastonbury festival. He would trigger these sounds as they were performing,. this kind of bizarre kind of motor thing. Rustang Sally and a friend of mine who pimped his Range Rover so that it sounds like a speedboat. So we combined those two sounds and then played it through a couple of very fruity plug-ins and it gave us Paris's Hummer.
