Introduction

This week we have a re-release of an earlier episode that I recorded with Lucy Pepiet back a couple years ago after she published her book, Women in Worship at Corinth. We're republishing this episode because it prepares away for the next episode which we'll make reference back to this one. So hopefully this will set the stage a little bit for the idea of Paul quoting from his opponents in his letters in ways that aren't explicit but are discernible based on maybe other clues you can detect in the text. And Lucy discusses this with regard to 1 Corinthians 11.
