The Moral Problem of Mankind

The moral problem of mankind, i would say, first and foremost is the problem of the stubborn will. This is the problem that every religion has had to answer in some fashion. That's what i think we could find useful about the buddhists, into looking at their framework for how they view the self. And it's probably why nicha praises schopenhauer's honesty and saw so much value in Schopenhauer because so much of his work is simply a secularization of buddhism.
