Narcissism has been on the rise in recent years. But social media is having negative side effects that aren't necessarily Predicted or always feeding in the direction of narcissism, says Jonathan Kolbe. Social media seems to be self-reinforcing which is kind of what you hinted at that people in narcissistic use it and it reinforces their narcissism So I put out my insta post everybody likes me I go god. I'm pretty hot. I'm gonna do it again That's reinforcing, but it's not turning you into a narcissist is sort of reinforcing what's there according to Kolbe.
