i was the first one to show that these fungi in the soil, they're called micarisal fungi, connect trees together. And i found that birch and fir both shared a whole bunch of species in common. Ecto mica, are called ecto micorisal species,. meaning that they that the fungus actually forms a sheath on the outside of the roots - it's kind of like an outside fundi fungus um.
