Digital anthropologist Josephine Eyre says that video calls are enough to truly help us be present with those we're connecting with. Research done by Carnegie Mellon University has found that turning our cameras on during video calls impacts our ability to do creative teamwork. Our over-reliance on video calls is hurting our ability to be creative as a team, and this is a big problem because creativity isn't just for artists and musicians but also drives innovation in our workplaces.
