How to Transfer a Polytroma Patient

Ideally you want two big peripheral IVs. If you have time, a central line preferably a cordis and a really sick patient. The location of that will depend on where most of the action is on your patient. Not giving any crystalloid at all in a polytroma patient is best. Instead we should be concentrating on getting those blood products in ASAP for any patient in shock or occult shock.
