It's not enough to pick the right companies. You're not investing in a vacuum. The old school way of thinking was, ok, we'll put the most percentage of your portfolio in the lowest risk company. But that doesn't really account for the fact that there are companies out there that are quo growth companies or riskier companies. It's all opportunity costs. As an investor, you've got to always be thinking in terms of, this isn't just one company i like any more than 10 other companies.
