The Differences Between Criminal Law and Moral Discourse

We couldn't have mobilised responsibility as we understand it today, except within a certain kind of institutional infrastructure. So that obviously contrasts very much with what goes on in a trial today. What is the interesting about the difference? Well, I suppose what I'm interested in here is the degree to which and the way in which concepts are operationalised within institutional frameworks actually affects the tone and shape of those concepts.
