Lego, a World-Changing Invention?
Ola Kirk started making toys with scrap wood in order to not waste things. Toys were what sold because parents wanted to give their kids some sort of reprieve from everything that was going on around them the way the world had gotten mad. And so he'd found that that was how he got into making toys. So if it hadn't been for the Depression, he never would have.
