The sound and the music is accompanied with the metronom. The meetronom actually gives your brain a ten plate for the motor action to be timed into. Those movements rely on networks that are impaired in parkinson's. If you trigger the movement with music or rhythm, that seems to rely on other brain networks that seem tob spared by the disease. Or that's the whole hypothesis behind music and motor function ing parkinson.
