So if you're talking about caps, it's falling apart or whatever. It's because the sequence is wrong, which all originates with a bad polymerase error. The dynamic nature may be the sister of replication infidelities. You are effectively allowing yourself to be a bit promiscuous in order to survey the space that you're trying to live in. But going down to phage is a really nice thing.
