The Importance of Being Perfect
The word teleus is used to describe someone who has reached a completion point in their growth and development as a human. And that's exactly what Jesus means when he says, be perfect therefore as your heavenly father is perfect. This right here, biblical love, choosing to view someone as a human being with dignity regardless of their behavior or what they've done to others or to me.
