The Future of Academic Freedom

I think in those situations we always have to err on the side of freedom. What's happening on campuses are things that you and I really disapprove of. Legitimacy is created by doing good work, by building a community of trust because people have tried to falsify your ideas for an awfully fucking long time. We need to let this madness run its course,. assuming it does have a course and let the institutions crumble. The old story about freedom of speech is that anyone who thinks they can let censorship off the leash will always be for a rude awakening. It's too large of a behemoth for me to deal with.
